RE:FI STHLM establishes Advisory Board with Maria-Pia Hope as Chair
RE:FI STHLM is pleased to announce the formation of an Advisory Board to support its continued growth and innovation in the banking and finance legal sector. The newly formed board will be chaired by Maria-Pia Hope, a distinguished lawyer and former Managing Partner at Vinge.
The decision to establish an advisory board stems from RE:FI STHLM’s ambition to gain perspectives, insights, and industry expertise that complement the firm’s internal capacity, competence, and broader network. Maria-Pia Hope has a background in banking and finance and over twenty years of experience leading and driving change within law and professional services. Her leadership and extensive network within the industry, combined with a strong focus on diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement, make her a key strategic partner for RE:FI STHLM.
“Maria-Pia brings invaluable experience from her time at Vinge and a deep understanding of the legal and business challenges we face. Her ability to lead and her commitment to equality and inclusion are a perfect match with RE:FI STHLM’s values,” says Johan Lundberg, Founder and CEO of RE:FI STHLM.
In a unique approach, RE:FI STHLM’s advisory board will act as a sounding board for key strategic decisions, including growth, recruitment, new service offerings, and technological innovations such as AI. It will play a crucial role in challenging and sparring with RE:FI STHLM, providing valuable insights that drive the firm’s development forward. Maria-Pia Hope will not only serve as chair but also as an ongoing strategic advisor to RE:FI STHLM’s leadership.
”It is exciting to be able to support a team well-known to me for their market-leading expertise and professionalism in an entirely new venture which will allow us to rethink how to engage in the business of law. I’m very much looking foward to being part of RE:FI STHLM’s journey ahead”, says Maria-Pia Hope.
“Law firms tend to operate within their own bubble. I believe in the power of bringing in external perspectives that can challenge, inspire, and guide us. We want to involve individuals with broad experience, exciting viewpoints, and networks that can help shape the future of RE:FI STHLM”, says Johan Lundberg, founder and CEO at RE:FI STHLM.
RE:FI STHLM plans to expand its advisory board with additional members over the coming months, focusing on individuals who can contribute both broad industry experience and other expertise valuable to a professional services firm with the ambition to be a leader in its field. This aligns with RE:FI STHLM’s ambitious goal to challenge the status quo and remain at the forefront of legal services in banking and finance.
